Kindess is often about random moments. A need exist now...so fill it. Philanthropy is not about the now, but the countless nows to come.

FAQ focuses on questions that arise about PSI as an organization and its relationship to its clients. We will continue to add to this list and post information that is not otherwise given priority on other portions of our site. We appreciate your feedback and enquiries, so please continue to send in your questions!

What is PSI and who does it serve?

Seventh-day Adventist colleges, universities, The North American Division headquarters, union and conference headquarters, and healthcare systems listed in the Seventh-day Adventist Church yearbook are fee paying PSI members. This year other institutions have joined that list.

Will PSI give my organization money? We have an inspiring mission!

Regardless of what you mission is, or how inspiring it may be, PSI is not a foundation. PSI is more like an association. Our primary goals are not to provide resources to other organizations or institutions, but to train them how to create philanthropic partnerships within their communities.

Can PSI give me a list of names or funding sources?

We do not provide possible donor matches for clients. We believe that although someone may be wealthy, and although your cause might be great, that this doesn't necessarily make the best match. We are happy to tell our clients about the type of fundraising partner might want to give, or constituent group that might be interested, PSI cannot give donor names.
